Peter Berklee Welcomes Synthesizer Guru Bob Moog Today Music Business Daily Berklee College of Music's Division of Music Technology will host synthesizer pioneer Bob Moog for two clinics, which are free and open to the public. The founder of Moog Music, Inc. introduced the Moog Synthesizer in 1964. The topic of his clinic is "What's so great about analog, anyhow?" Moog has been awarded honorary doctorate degrees from NYC's Polytechnic University and Lycoming College (PA); the Silver Medal of the Audio Engineering Society; the Trustee's award of the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences; Billboard Magazine Trendsetter's award; and the Seamus award from the Society of Electroacoustic Music in the United States. These clinics are today, Monday, March 29, from 2:00 - 4:00 PM, and 7:00 - 9:00 PM at Berklee College of Music, 22 The Fenway, Boston, MA.
