Agreed, their new one is great and even more alien sounding than the first.
Don't hesitate to pick this one up if you're looking for a "punkier"
sounding _Dok_.

Real reason I'm posting though is to recommend Erik M's "Zygosis" off
Sonoris, one of the best turntablist records I've ever heard. His
compositions hit somewhere between (or near) the territory mapped out by
Christian Marclay and Martin Tetreault. That is, the raw meditative
fluidity of Martin's Audioview disc with just enough Marclay-ish curveballs
to make it thoroughly interesting. Sorry, poor comparison. Just check it
out if you're looking for difficult turntable music. In the "liner notes",
there's a list of (what I think is) the artists sampled: Aphex Twin, Pierre
Henry, Scelsi, Berio, Parmegiani, Takemitsu, Otomo Yoshihide, Napalm Death,
Sun Ra, etc. Erik M also makes a contribution to the Turntable Solos comp
off Amoebic.
