Reportedly Bullfrog cut a plate of original vocals, then during the recording, Kid K scratched them right into the mix! The effect is surrealistic, subtle and very very loopy, a perfect foil for the music, two tracks of which sound like a combination of turntablist fun mixed up with rare-groove/sweet-soul from the seventies. Plus, there's a third track that's all Kid K, doing more of what you've come to know and love on his now completely-unavailable "Scratchcratchratchatch" cassette. We firmly believe Kid Koala is one of the artists that is going to take turntablism into the Future; he combines a storyteller's ear with a songwriter's sense of compostition and of course turntablist chops that make lesser DJ's turn green.
