...been searching for a Mac application that would give the user real-time control over the pitch of soundfiles. It's needed this for live application, so the real-time capability is STRESSED. Ideally, something along the lines of a turntable-like interface, as that's the closest approximation I can come up with to my actual intent. And the gradation has to be fine, as I'm dealing with some sort of precision here. I've been playing with Hyperprism for a bit, but the algorithm works on a two-dimensional scale, which leads to a lot of unwanted artifacts (i.e. not the background anomalies the 'Bucket Brigade' thread has made us all learn to love...). Any suggestions would be welcome. -Keith. np- EBN E SYNC (wordsound). Track #5 has to be the best thing any of those 'WE' lads have committed to tape. The lack of a vinyl pressing is a crime. __________________________________________________ Reckankreuzungsklankewerkzeuge.________________________ _________________________________PO Box 382864-2864 Cambridge, MA 02238-2864____________________________ _______________________________________________USA _______________Main URL: http://www.tiac.net/users/sheket __________________________________________________
