Crystal Method, Prodigy, Chemical Brothers, Photek, and quite a few other bands have seen the same fate, once respected by some people, then they become this huge MTV hit and everyon turns on them. THis is not to rehash discussion about such bands, nor to discuss the quality of their music. It just seems that many who deserve respect suddenly become our targets for abuse as soon as they become popular. How dare an artist ever make music that someone would actually like. I mean damn, all artists should just make crap that everyone hates so they would remain elite and hardcore. So I call myself the mainstreeam titanic lover to make a point when you are actually much closer to them than myself, becasue you, much like the mainstream, remains close minded, willing to judge music based on it level of populairty.
