NB: we're back on thursdays, weekly, from 4th March
We have a ONE OFF SPECIAL this month...(and thanks to everyone
who came down to our 3rd Birthday. Bruising!)

DATE ::::::::: thurs 11th Feb
-----------------------
::::::::: SPRAWL present a special performance by multi media
::::::::: artists WIGGLE - VJing, DJing & Net-jamming in full effect,
::::::::: hot from the Rotterdam Film Festival...

::::::::: _In their own words:_
"It used to be that bands were formed in a certain city, members
having to meet in a studio and jam in order to compose.
With the Internet, those composers can be gathered on a
worldwide basis, as network technologies can allow for
musical collaborations over remote locations."

"The most talented musicians were recruited over the Net for WIGGLE;
members were found in Japan (Aki,) Australia (Raphiel,) and the
U.S.A. (Brett). These three compose together as a traditional band,
with one difference; composition does not occur in a studio, but on
the Internet."

"They appeared in their first video through the personas of computer
graphic characters, and their concerts are performed with several
of the members appearing on monitors via the Internet. This video
won first prize at the Media Arts Contest held by the Japanese
Ministy of Culture."

"WIGGLE is not only a pioneer in their compositional methods, but
musical style as well. The sound designers for the first album
are CRISTIAN VOGEL - a Techno prodigy from the UK, and
KEN ISHII - Japanese Techno God."
