Warning: i don't know a lot about these guys so this review could B total shit. i'm not sure if it is worth going through what I went through 2 see them ///// but it WILL probably be worth any-1 elses time. in all Pan Sonic / Pita / Fennesz / Haswell only played 4 about an hour and a half. i had a small problem trying 2 figure out who was who but i think Pan Sonic played last. the 4 of them in total played 4 tracks. the 1st 3 (Pita/Fennesz/Haswell) each played one track (on a set of 3 laptops). these 3 tracks lasted the 1st half of the show and the the last track (Pan Sonic... i think) lasted the other half of the show. Pan Sonic had kind of a mix blend of separate tracks in-2 1 (my fave of the night). the place was so tiny where they played. we sat in a room with about 70 some chairs. many sat on the floor. it was like the size of a chorus room or something. most of the stuff they played sounder like a chaotic blend of static and machine gun loop noises. it was very ear dominating. lots of high pitched squeelzzzzz. the 1st half of the show didn't seem 2 have any relevant beat or sequencing structure. on the first track, it looked like he was playing a video game and using the mixer as a joystick. the second half had more structure (and a different setup). all in all it was pretty neato but i wish that it was longer. it was kind of a bad night for me. aside from getting stranded in Hollywood until 4:00 in the morning. i had a good time. i happened 2 catch The Opposite of Sex while i was there ///// which by the way, is funny as shit. but don't just listen 2 me // go see the Pan Sonic + Mego show. my review may do it no justice/or it may do it 2-much justice. i guess U have 2 make your own jugements. limited to 1 copy, rod _____________________________________________________________________ You don't need to buy Internet access to use free Internet e-mail.
