lyrics are a great way to channel the emotion of your music into a specific idea bringing a very personal embrace to your audience. I love lyrics, have nothin' against em at all. But they are by no means a necessesary component of music and the emotions of music are in their purest form without lyrics. reason: because when you hear lyrics your mind has no choice but to be taken to that idea. When you hear no lyrics you simply hear pure sound, pure emotion, no specific ideas in mind.. not that ideas (lyrics) are bad or anything. Who said purest=best anyways. Geez.. -=aaron
