Very happy to say I picked up a goodie this morning: Nuphonic 01 : compilation dated 1998 featuring Blaze / kerri chandler / yellow sox / free chicago movement / soul ascendants /black jazz chronicles (Ashley Beedle ) / faze action / ten city / fuzz against junk. Whereas I am sad to say none of the names apart from Ashley B. and Ushi Classen are familiar, this is an ace compilation that swings along at a very boppy funky housey acid jazz groove with some Latin beats thrown in. Has anybody else come across it? What else is out on this label? I *
