>Question of the day: What is "BOOTY" Its a form of Beat heavy electro/house music heavily laden with pornographic lyrics and samples. My simple mind understands analogies so the way Ive figured it is: "AphexTwin" is "IDM" as "2liveCrew" is to "Booty-house" The bits ive managed to hear had a definite Florida-electro feel with Miami Bass mixed in. The important thing in this subgenre are relentless beats to keep the anatomy you are describing moving as long as possible :) Im told that half of the appeal is the effect the explicit lyrics have on the *close* physical contact folx have on the dancefloor, so security is pretty beefy to quelch the invevitable fights.
