That was a really good notion, Brian! But after checking, it wasn't the answer. Surprisingly, it already has a several-second ramp time to go between the two speeds, and the Glide has no effect on that time. While the LED comes on when you press either button, there is no audible effect. Since this is a paraphonic machine using octave dividers, glide in the portamento sense is not possible - except on the monophonic bass, but there is no effect there either. And if it were a portamento function, you would expect a knob for the glide time, and there is none. So what the heck is this Glide business? >> >> This machine is really hard to find any info on - I can't find any type of manual online.
