Can I just ask, what with all this furore about the "lost" BOC records (Hooper bay, play by numbers, acid memories) has anyone actually stopped and thought that this could all be just a marketing ruse on the part of Warp....BOC having a new album out soonish and all that. It does seem very strange that these releases have only just surfaced now, dontchathink? I mean they must rank alongside AFX's Q-Chastic 7" (has anyone ever seen that?) as some of the most elusive phantom records in IDM land. Surely what with all the informed DJs/record hunters/label owners etc etc someone would have spotted or found these by now? Twoism we know exists, Boc Maxima.....anyone actually own that (an invite to brag if ever I wrote one). I had my doubts about Legofeet until Lance's auction a while back. It just seems to me that because IDM fans are some of the most fervent "spotters" in musicville, there are some scrupulous people out there willing to exploit that (namely BOC site owner..) and build up fever pitch excitement on a few "unobtainable" releases. Or maybe I should just lay back and laugh along with them....great skam boys. Gv
