As are mine, and this is why I never let them out of my sight. The sad
rule of thumb is that if you can't see them, chances are that someone
has already taken them. This has happened to so many people I know that
it's sick.

I don't even need to get into the moral implications of some moron at a
party stealing a dj's records...it's just plain wack.

Yep, you probably should have taken some precausions but putting your
records in the car is the second worse thing you can do because people
see you stashing them there, then see you walking away and have all
night to break your window and grab them.

Yes, very. Like I said, the only solution is to care them with you
*ALL* night long. Sure it's a pain in the ass but if you'd rather
replace them then carry them, put them down somewhere and see if they're
still there in 10 minutes!

See above...or have a friend babysit them while you have fun.

I have seen dj's who would lock their box with a paddlelock and then
chain it to a pole, but this won't stop some fucked up e-head from
pissing on it for a laugh.

Sorry you got burned, just be happy it wasn't a flight case full of dub
plates.

peace,

brock.
