MARCH MANIFESTATIONS
Meat Beat Manifesto has contributed, "Source of Uncertainty," a previosly
unreleased MBM track to the upcoming Om Records compilation, Convergence,
highlighting artists and tracks that hybridize electronic and live
instrumentation. The album, which also includes tracks by Jonah Sharp, DJ
Vadim and Carl Craig among others and releases on March 9th.
This compilation has a publication companion piece in the next issue of
XLR8R, who has made this 'convergence' and its featured artists on the
cover story which premieres and have special distribution at the Winter
Music Convention in Miami. MBM's "Source of Uncertainty" features Herbie
Hancick alumni musicians, Pat Gleeson on Arp 2600 and Bennie Maupin on
saxophones.
