Thought I'd add to the discussion on drum'n bass full-length's with five albums....mostly nice breakbeat full-lengths that flirt with gorgeous melodies and tight jungle programming..... Friend - Hot Rod (Dot) Kumo - Kaminari (Airbag) Sternklang - Freestylespacefunk (Beatservice) T-Power - Self Evident Truths... (S.O.U.R.) Drum + Space - Calcutta Cyber Cafe (Omni) The Kuma and Sternklang I think have been for the most part overlooked by IDM.... but I really think they deserve some attention. And the Friend record deserves every bit of attention its been getting..... highly recommended. According to Mixmaster Morris's post a few weeks ago, the T-Power record is still in print in Japan.... so if you can't find a used copy, it can be obtained as an import. And finally, the Drum + Space record seems to be the forgotten first full-length from now cross-over tabla'n bass superstar pop icon Talvin Singh (but he looks sooo handsome in those press photos!). Forget 'OK'... and try to get that Calcutta Cyber Cafe record.... while considerably more chilled than his other excursions, I've always considered this one of Singh's finest releases to date. Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaron
