Most techno you hear in clubs or a majority of raves even is quite commercial sounding. That gaddang trance shit seems like it will never go away. Ocassionally we have some killer shit thrown by the local IDM-heads. Recently a thing called Signal to Noise. Gonzi has put together a few things in the past, and KUCI does some ocassional stuff too, but in general the masses here in the LA fit the guitar based description IMO g
