Parts of the Pitchcadet crew kick off a years worth of
shows not only to promote their recent and upcoming
releases but also to announce that IDM IS INDEED DEAD
expect sets across the country throughout the year
from all of the Pitchcadet crew, a tightly knit
geographically diverse group of young men pushing the
preconceptions of the live performance

kicking off the first IDM is indeed dead show will be
Null Unit bringing to the table the indie-pop
sensibilities of forgotten melodies
opening previously for acts such as the much heralded
Movietone

Joshua Treble is 1/3 of Pitchcadet along with M-Tec &
Accelera Deck and also half of the elusive aiiFM
internet label. JTreble is promoting his upcoming
full length cd on Pitchadet "Cold Filthy Techniques
to Keep You Close" Treble's sound is reminiscent of
shoegaze/ noise/ left-field broken-down beats and
subject to impromptu freeform ___Jellyfish kiss
will be in company providing guitars & sampled textures....

Jetone (aka Tim Hecker) has his hands in numerous
projects involving canadian, american, & german
labels. Based out of Montreal and making his debut US
appearance, In addition to recording for Pitchcadet
he recently was featured on the No Watches, No Maps
compilation released by Fat Cat. He also also co-runs
intr_version records with Mitchell Akiyama. Expect the
unexpected with his live set verving seamlessly
between ambience and beats and all things anti-IDM.
