I said it was boring in a bit of a tongue-n-cheek way, as the music seems like it develops more slowly and quietly than Aphex, which goes to reminds me of Aphex' change of direction over the past few years. Still, all in all, both Aphex/Tampex is more interesting music to me than 99% of the music out there. I always try to keep in mind that IDM (or whatever you wanna call it) is this really tiny veneer of avant-techno-whatever that has an estimated audience of ?
