Ive not heard a peep about a label called AMPOULE so Ill ask here: I picked up a record in a brown cardboard sleeve last Friday at the local platter purveyors. it has no writing on the blue and and white abstract label, but the record info is all etched in the runout groove. I should have written it all down, but memory recalls: AMPOULE ( the label) AMP001 ( I got the first one then) and it lists the names of the 4 tracks on it. A needle drop anywhere on the surface instantly reveals one of the better IDM records Ive heard in at least couple of weeks! Some of the tracks reminded me a lot of Black Dog or something similar . Very melodic but not cheesy, and interesting & beautiful from side to side, and with beats that arent boring. Hopefully someone out there has some background on this label or record as Im confident others would enjoy this stuff as well - I cant stop listening to it!!!!!!!!!!
