As odd as this may sound for somebody on the idm mailing list, my exposure to the Aphex Twin and Autechre has been very limited. I did get to see Autechre live in Miami Beach though. YIPPIE! Due to a very small vinyl budget and the fact that our station is not on their promo mailing lists, I'm not too familiar with their stuff. Would anybody be interested in making me a comp of their best stuff and I'll reciprocate the favor. I listen to a lot of different music and make 120 minute DAT compilations all the time ranging from jazz to hip hop to ambient to dnb to funk to flutes and everything in between. If you're interested drop me a line. A guess a CDr or another DAT would be cool. This is, of course, for promotional use only. ;) On a serious tip though, I'm the RPM director for WKPS 90.7 FM (Penn State University Student Radio). Our department is rather young and we don't have a large backcatalog music library. I make DAT comps for my DJs of stuff I've either bought with my own money or have come across through friends. It serves a larger purpose in that it distributes the music to a much larger audience via the radio waves. I'm not sure if that serves as enough of a copyright disclaimer, but...
