Re: (idm) Found Sounds

This brings up an interesting question. I've been looking for something like
this for a while, but I'm weary of getting whale songs 'with background
music'...ugh, that would be horrible. Whales with Yanni or some such nonsense.

So, Ross (or anyone), are there any disks/tapes out there that do, indeed, have
real humpback whale songs without all the commercial garbage to make it sound
'pretty'? I'm looking purely for whale songs, here; maybe scientific recordings
along the lines of those voyager recordings of deep space...a pointer in the
right direction or a taped copy...I'd appreciate anything at this point.

As for finding it funny on first listen, I remember laughing my ass off to Chill
Out the first time...now, I wouldn't leave the planet without it. Essential.

Save the whales. Collect the whole set. Trade them with your friends.
