I am super nervous about oil of any kind as I strongly suspect that some combination of oil and other crap lead to the destruction of my JP-4's sliders (now replaced). Naturally I wouldn't be hosing things down with oil. Eucalyptus oil was suggested. I will get some of that and keep it around. The AH suggestion of Tea Tree Oil for the treatment of mildew and fungus infested synths has been a godsend. My formally smelly Crumar (from an Italian cellar) now smells like a synth should; slick and business. And any modules in my modular rig had better match my Monde stuff or get out of town! ;) On 29.07.18 19:26 , John Emond wrote: > I've had mixed results using Goo Gone, a citrus-based remover, on some old > Roland keyboards.
