They are certainly finicky, time consuming and expensive but on the other side
of that they are perfectly functional and very robust.

The compressive strength will be suitably high given that the loads are born by
the spacers. I would guess its similar to the original sliders.

Yes, it would be really nice to have someone recreate the original fader pots to
the original specs. I didn't have the time to wait as I want to play now and my
JP4's sliders were utterly pooched :)

Will be posting the entire photo journal of my install in a few hours.
