just got a tape of some rare Bochum Welt 12"es from another list member (Scharlach Eingang, Telestatt, Les Dances D Ete, Phial, the Voder, etc.) I assume these are rare in comparison to say Desktop Robotics CD. anyway, after listening to this stuff I must say I've got some real junk in my collection. This music is some really great stuff (I didn't care for Desktop Robotics too much). Now I am really looking forward to the stuff to be comming out on Isophlux Records. This is IDM kids, not that trip hop shit that gets posted about 50% of the time. Why these releases haven't been discussed all that much is beyond me. I've seen 1000's of posts about Luke and what label just picked him up (like it matters). I'd prefer to see 1000 posts about incredible music like this Bochum Welt VODER ep or Music Aus Straum releases (i've only heard one however) or Schematic etc. All i can say is that GONZI is right we need to clean up IDM. There's too many stupid threads (I admit I've started some myself) that cloud up this place which allow posts about some really incredible releases go bye. (ex. someone finally mentioned insync vs. mysteron recently, as well as Sensureal) I can't believe we don't see more threads about this or the BOCHUM WELT 12"es I just mentioned. I assume it's because many are like me who still don't have a turntable or good enough paycheck to keep up with the vast ammount of music being released. Either way, these stupid threads are killing our list. I vow to stay away from them, this will make frankie really happy (maybe he'll still send me the next pLOD tape and the T-shirt I was promised:) BTW if you'r going to comment on this, maybe do so in private mail cuz if this topic turned into a thread, I'd feel like a hypocrite. So take it as advice or complain to me privately. in the meantime enjoy your discs and tell us why they're so great -0 ps: thanks jdavis:)
