Kelly, I didn't actually mean to knock Tom for playing this. He was just getting the crowd going by playing a few old favourites - just as he used to do when he played the Grange Hill theme (a kids TV program over here). I spose it's a reaction to the 'every record has got to be only known to the cognoscenti' approach sometimes prevalent at these events (tho not at the Big Chill). Incidentally, the highlight of his set was Kirsty Hawkshaw singing her Opus 3 hit (tho' she was jokingly cursing Mark and Tom for making her do it!). Kirsty....swoon... --- Kelley Hackett <xxxxxxxx@xxx.xxxxx.xxx> wrote: > Sorry to hear that about ole Tom, at one point that > cat was rocking my world > like a metor shower(again, that was his old stuff > though)........No cheese > for me, bad for the body, and the ear............ > > > DO YOU YAHOO!? > > Get your free @yahoo.co.uk address at > http://mail.yahoo.co.uk > _____________________________________________________________ DO YOU YAHOO!?
