Ahem. APHEX TWIN? Not anywhere near I'm afraid! I believe the track you're describing is (probably the only worthwhile track from) the Rebirth of Cool 6 CD. (Actually, the Lamb track and maybe one other are pretty good.) It's called "To Forgive But Not Forget" [the album version has a Yiddish subtitle which I can't remember], BY a group called Outside, an American guy whose name I've forgotten, which basically Klezmer (Jewish) violin playing over an early junglist beat. The song actually comes from about 1994, and is on an Outside album I urge you not to get ;) as the rest is rather embarrassing acid-jazzy type stuff. This track is very beautiful though. How you came up with Aphex Twin I don't know!
