While doing a junk shop trawl, I bought a Haruomi Hosono album titled Mental Sports Mixes (most notably featuring an Orb production, also Graham Massey, Bomb the Bass etc). from '94 on TriStar / Epic. What can you tell me about Hosono? Is he a former Yellow Magicker? I'm just going through it for the first time now and am enjoying it. Is he still around? The inlay says at the very bottom "Dedicated to Haruomi "Medicine Man" Hosono, Gaia, Space, Outlands & Friends." Also picked up an Eye Q double from '96: Five Years of Eye Q Music with all their usual range of suspects featured: Who wanted Virtual Symmetry a while ago? Here's a track (See You) - also Alter Ego, Sven Vath, Pascal FEOS, Cygnus X, Hildenbeutel etc. Somehow, I don't think I'll ever play it, but I couldn't leave it there amongst all the dusty NonStopRavePartyHits93... ah, you know how it goes.
