OK, incredibly off-topic, but... I'm trying to work out some visuals for an upcoming show, and would appreciate input on lo-budget yet effective eye candy. Anyone have experience w/ liquid oil-and-dye projections or other lo-fi methods? I found some info on liquid oil projections in the alt.rave.FAQ but it's really vague and was hoping for someone else's input. Maybe I'll get lucky, dunno? To whoever asked about the Tone Tales CD... I don't have Vol. One, still looking for it. But Vol. Two is excellent, NTone back catalog blended by Coldcut. Not quite as stellar as the JDJ, Blech!, or Coldkrushcuts mixes. On par and with a similar vibe to the Stoned, Chilled, Groove mix CD they did (also worth scoring). So it's good but not life-changing IMHO. ____________________________________ Brock Phillips - xxxxx@xxxxx.xxx.xxx WXYC 89.3 FM The New Science Experience Tune in every Sunday night 10-12 AM EST http://www.wxyc.org for live RA broadcast Promos, demos, etc. welcome for submission Email for postal address and details...
