I agree that this could have easily been condensed
into a 2xcd compilation and still been good but i dont
mind the extra tracks because it exposes me to some
artists i was not previously familiar with. Even if
the tracks are sub-par, they still give me a taste of
what that artist is trying to do and i can decide from
there whether i want to see what else that artist has
done. For me that's what compilations are all about -
an inexpensive way of hearing new artists/labels 
without having to buy entire releaes by those 
artists/labels.

Yes, cd1 is my favorite as well with the tracks by 
Thaemlitz, Christophe Charles, Low Res, Mouse 
on Mars, Lithops, SND, Brinkmann, Philus, and
Brusseler Platz.
