Two very different programs. If you only get one, get Cubase (or one of its competitors - StudioVision, Digital Performer, or Logic). These are integrated MIDI/audio programs which are the centerpiece of music production on the computer. Peak is a more specialized program, strictly for detailed audio editing and processing. Good to use in conjunction with one of the above, but limited by itself. No MIDI support! It's a different kind of animal. >i'll be running the apps from my g3/333 powerbook w/192 meg ram. >not sure about soundcard though. can anyone name good ones to use >with the aforementioned programs? is the one included good enough? You can use the included audio I/O for starters. 3
