yep, we're both talking about sch808. newcleus' jam on it came out in 1984
and is quite distinctive: if you've heard man parrish's hip hop be bop (don't stop),
imagine that slower and with a full rap throughout (not that this is close, but it
gives you at least some sort of idea). i'll try to get Newcleus' Jam On It on a
future edition of In The Mix. Andrew Duke :)
