Ah, the sublime twinkly incandescence of the bubbling marimbas and glockenspiels. The slow build...the chiming ethereal trance. Fits right in with a critical IDM concept....the gradual shifting and building of instrumental timbres over consistently repeated rhythmic phrases. Here, the time signatures may also possess fluidity, in an ordered, evolving, fractal-mathematical pattern. And the rhythms slide precision phase in a pleasing tickly beautiful way. - Fred
