The PBO track that is available on the OM Records comp is also available at CDuctive for inclusion on a custom CD. They also have a quickie sound sample of the track there. Not mindblowing, but worth a 99 cent investment IMHO. They also have almost all of Skampler up there as well (everything except the last track), and a bunch of tracks from Clear, Ninja Tune and Asphodel. I found their service to be plenty decent (ordered the CD on Friday afternoon, received it in the mail on Monday), and the CD that I got was playable on every CD player I own (6-year-old and <1-year-old players at home, 9-year-old player and <1-year-old CD-ROM at work). I've read warnings about CD playability on this list before, though, so caveat emptor, your mileage may vary, void where prohibited, yadda yadda yadda. The UI at the site sucks, though. You can't get a "complete" listing for a label or artist except by searching for it, which means you'll often get junk in the response that you don't care about. But I thought it was worth slogging through for the tracks I got, and certain tracks are available for no additional charge, including the 14-minute "radio" version (bad words replaced by odd sound effects) of Invisbl Skratch Piklz "Klams Uv Deth," which rounded out my CD nicely. Not an employee, but a satisfied customer. -- Adam J Weitzman NewsEdge Corporation sleepy people | network down http://www.newsedge.com http://www.newspage.com
