Is that the one that starts off with the crunchy 4/4, then drops in those
high-end metallic cymbals and then goes into those gorgeous chords? Yup -
got to be one of my fave RDJ's as well.

IMO _Nude Photo_ is a bad example to use - it's a grimy, dirty journey into
skewed funk. Its about the groove.

Yup - I'd agree with this in the main.

Just not the rest of your post Stuart :) I've (and I'm sure other people
have as well) written tracks that relate to the mood I was in at the time.
Sure they develop in ways that you don't originally intend (this is your
'knowing what sounds work') but the essence of what made you sit down at
the sequencer in the first place can still be retained in some situations -
in other situations, you might shoot off on different tangents... The
emotional response of the listener can still be guided by the artist.

Leila is the girlfriend of one of the Plaid geezers - I forget which. Not
heard the Rephlex release but I heard that she sings on some tracks (don't
know if any of these are on this single) and it's supposed to be quite
cool. She collaborates on one of the tracks on _Not For Threes_.

Weird Japanese singing over cheap drum machines and even cheaper FM synths.
Funny for about 5 secs. Vinyl version comes with a jigsaw of the cover.
Definitely listen to it first.
