Yup, exactly my point.  The SE-02 is a great analogue synth with more 
controls and a lot more going on under the hood than the SH-01a in terms 
of circuitry, but they needed to outsource the SE-02 to make it.  
Similar case with the malekko collab and the rebranding of the Reon.  I 
do love the SE-02 though, but I wish the sequencer could hold more than 
16 steps.  I would happily trade of 100 or so patch storage slots for 
more sequencer capability.  I really like triggering the sequencer on it 
from the trigger out of the TR-707 or the gate outs of the SQ-01.  Maybe 
they will update it?  Nah, probably not, it is Roland after all. Haha
