I wholeheartedly agree with john, M&T vol 4 is an
excellent 3xcd comp of dark electronica/techno/breaks/
ambeince/experimental music from the likes of Gas,
Thomas Koner, Kim Cascone, Low Res, Mouse on
Mars, Lithops, SND, Thomas Brinkmann, Curd Duca,
Rehberg & Bauer, Techno Animal, DJ Spooky, Pluramon,
Ryoji Ikeda, Scanner, Noto, Steel, Andy Mellwig,
Kerosene, Thomas Heckmann, Philus, and Freiland to
name a few. I believe many of these tracks are previously
unreleased too. M&T vol 3 has a similar lineup and sound
too. Both are well worth checking out if you're into the
more dark experimental side of things.
