I agree that NOW I'm off topic, but I will post this response and nothing
more on the subject.

Who are you to decide what's silly?  If people want something, it's up to
them to decide how much it's worth to them (e.g., the Mask 12"s).

What's crass is your belief that scanning in the entire magazine is a fine
thing to do.  It's copyrighted, therefore it's illegal to do so.

And what's stupid is your offer to do something illegal on a public list.

What's really stupid is your trying to decide what things are worth to other
people.  Very few things are "worth" what people pay for them, if all you
consider is the materials that went into the making of them.  If it's not
worth it to you, by all means don't pay.  But don't begrudge others who want
something more than you, and are willing to spend more than you to get it.
