Just got a breathtaking new compilation cd in the mail today from a new label called Eminate. The comp features nine tracks of unique abstract electronica much different from the slew of warp, musik aus strom, skam, markant-type stuff that seems to be everywhere these days. Artists on this comp include Lillanthal, OST, if.then.else, Sybarite, and Solenoid. This comp is highly recommended for those who like their idm with a twist but still very accessible. Imagine the old ART/B12 material mixed with some Freeform, Roupe, OST and even a little Vulva. Very impressive stuff...
