Yes, you are correct that he doesn't use headphones and also does have quite a bit of tape on his records, but in the case of the happy face record, I'm pretty sure it's in the pressing. I was right on the left edge of the stage with Phil Evans, and noticed that record when he put it on...I thought the same thing, but then he slapped another copy of it on the other deck and the smileys didn't look like stickers to me, just a cool design in the pressing. Either way, I'm curious what that record was and am going to go look for it the weekend, since I'm sure I've seen it around somewhere. peace out, brock. np: v/a - avantgardism 2 (again)
