hey all, i went by othermusic today, spotted the new plaid and autechre domestics for $13. pretty sweet deal... i'm really looking forward to their show next week. if any out-of-towners need someone to get them tickets, i can maybe help you out. drop me a line privately. don't know if it's been mentioned before, but it seems dj wally is going to be there too. anyway i saw what appears to be a new talvin singh album (not a comp). didn't catch the name... it's white and it's in a weird see through plastic case that you unbutton to open. and it seems ryuichi sakamoto has contributed on some of the tracks. anybody know anything about this release? is it good, or what? it was fucking $28, which kinda turned me off. especially since i don't listen to my anokha album all that often. i liked anokha a lot at first, maybe because it had a real new, fresh sound, but it's kind of worn off now... later on, -ali _________________________________________________________ DO YOU YAHOO!?
