it's interesting to hear how split people are about download albums. it
seems like download fans are perfectly divided between thinking either
furnace, TEoSP or III is the best they've done. personally, i think
TEoSP is tops (if the whole cd was just glassblower i'd be in heaven).
furnace is quite good, & III just feels somehow... lacking. maybe i
went into it w/ the wrong expectations, but i'm an unsatisfied customer.
with this is mind, would i like charlie's family & music for cats? some
people have said that chharlie's family feels a little like coil, which
is music to my ears...

and as for haujobb related stuff, i'd agree that newt is very IDM
friendly, but i also think it's a little dull. granted, i only listened
to it in my car, but i found it boring even as background music.
however, both solutions for a small planet and freeze frame reality are
really good stuff. with this in mind, would matrix be a bad purchase?
what about the other myers productions? i know they're d'n'b-ish, but
others have said it feels like autechre (which is a good thing). oh,
and i think the cleaned visions ep is drivel...

the lexauculpt ep on isophlux is quite good if a bit... sparse.
however, the last song would of knocked me over if i wasn't already
lying down.
