Man, I don't care what anyone says, Kid Rock is the shit. He does not give a FUCK. A friend of mine saw him in Ann Arbor or somewhere several years ago, and apparently there were only about 15 people there, but the Kid rocked the place to the ground. Also, his rhymes are so unabashedly stupid and wack that part of me can't help but like them... the thought of this guy in his basement screaming "WHAT'S MY NAME?" into a microphone over some AC/DC loop is just, I dunno, cool and punkrock... not to mention he has lines like "Cruisin' through town in my jacked up truck/Eyes open cause I'm scopin' for a big butt slut" (from the classic "Balls in Your Mouth") I haven't heard any of his new stuff, but 'The Polyfuze Method' is great. I'm from the midwest though, so I'm predisposed to like stuff with Led Zeppelin and AC/DC samples. (Incidentally, I'll be hading back to Indiana next week, if anyone knows of any IDM hangouts or cool record stores in southern Indiana... oh wait, I know there aren't any already, so never mind, hehe) I'm surprised the Kid didn't get big sooner, as his stuff is pretty much parallels the Beastie Boys, only his lyrics started on the level of "License to Ill" and went down from there :) .Bil. ich|bin|ein|kopieier
