"The Fat Controller" is one of the protagonists of the excellent novel "My Idea of Fun" by Will Self. "The Fat Controller" is basically some sort of demonic being who is very fat, very well dressed and has an extremely large vocabulary. He teaches the main character about the finer points of eidesis (an extreme form of photographic memory) and witchcraft. After listening to the song, the music sort of fits the character, but needs to be a little more robust and squelchy, perhaps a little more classy as well. Although Mr. Broadhurst did have a pretty violent temper... I would heartily recommend any of Will Self's books over almost any record I've heard lately (except for maybe "Wave Twisters"). Jonathan
