greets; just wanted to give much props to the only name in drum and
bass that is fully y2k-compatible..... Breakbeat Era ripped it up at
Club ID in LA just a couple hours ago; the electricity went out 3
times but thanks to a live drummer who didn't break a sweat or miss a
beat the show went on sans amplification... and anyone who says LA
doesn't rip didn't see this crowd keep the shit going with handclaps
(the old-fashioned kind, not the ones from the 808).... of course it
was nice when the juice did come back on; brilliant drum and bass
sound with terrific vocals by Leonie (?) whose stage presence was
cool and personal yet full of energy .... highly recommended. And
DJs Roni Size and Die kept the drum n bass going till 3 am...
terrific crowd except for a couple of gangsta wannabes who thought
that jungle means punch your neighbor; thankfully there was only one
beat-down and that didn't last. Best of all I got 2 cds for $10
after the show. whee!

time for bed
