This is what worked best for me: http://jd800center.blogspot.com/2013/03/one-fix-for-red-glue-problem.html Although the lye smells terrible, and the water turned red - so I was afraid it might stain or permanently stink up the keys - in the end all was fine. Lye only acts on organic material, so the plastic keys weren't etched, hazed or discolored; and all the stink rinsed off :-) It did take several days to complete the process though. all my best, - Scott
