argh. is that fellow who had that big zip file of samples with which he wanted people to make songs out of still reading this list? if you are, please email me with your address so i can send a tape to you. if you're not, maybe someone else who is participating can send me your email address. right? and no, i'm not sorry for wasting bandwidth, if you're not into reading things unrelated to what you're looking for, then you shouldn't be on the internet. and especially not on mailing lists. ;) er.. picked up the new plaid last weekend. daaaamn good stuff. it's a really solid album, and kinda a departure in style at some points, but still very good tunes. the tracks with vocals are good too, bjork more so than nicollete, but i'm not really a nicollete fan, so that's probably why. also got the like-a-tim remixes, and the new amon tobin, too, but the plaid is far superior. far! since everyone is doing their '97 abcs, here's another one. A: phex's new video, which I have yet to see. B: ecky, my gf who I met in '97 and is the bomb. C: anada, a foreign country which I traveled to where I visited my friend Angie who had gotten me into this "IDM" so long ago. D: emo tapes, some of which I sent to people on this list. E: x.p., which I got some issues of and enjoyed this year. F: inal Fantasy VII, which came out and was fun. G: raves, as in Chris Graves, who I remixed some songs for this year. H: ..I don't know. That's as far as this list goes, I guess. noah
