One of the reasons certain pieces of gear change hands for absurd amounts is because all too many people seem to think amassing the same gear as musicians they enjoy will allow them to make music that sounds like them. I'm not suggesting that this is your motivation for wanting to know what they use, but I've heard more than one musician express frustration about this issue. -d.w. >> methinks as much as current tech makes it easier to do many music tasks, it still takes massive amounts of talent, taste and finesse to make distinctive music. i'm certain that nobody else w/ ae or rdj's gear would do anything remotely similar, let alone as unique. just good old mystique-building on the part of the artistes and thier publicity agents!
