In the course of adding aftertouch to the keybed, we found that we would need to be able to disable it, since many of the presets (which cannot be edited) don't have a useful LFO rate - at least for applying key pressure/vibrato. So we had to add a switch for the aftertouch. I thought it would be cool to have a switch that also allowed you to bump the aftertouch/vibrato effect on while it is disabled from the keybed - so it works like a Juno-106 bender when you push it forward.
