Try these to start:
Can's _Future Days_, _Tago Mago_, _Ege Bamyasi_
Cluster's _Cluster 71_, _Cluster II_
Kraftwerk's _Kraftwerk_ (the one with the red and
white road cone on the cover)
Organisation's _Tone Float_ (early incarnation of
Kraftwerk)
Neu!'s _Neu!_ and _Neu! 75_
Harmonia's _Deluxe_ and _Musik Von Harmonia_
Brainticket's _Cottonwoodhill_ (actually a Swiss
group, but often classified as krautrock)
anything by Cosmic Jokers
Ash Ra Tempel's _Seven Up_, _Schwingungen_
Faust's _Faust Tapes_, _IV_, _So Far_
Popol Vuh's _Affenstunde_, _In Den Garten Pharaohs_
Annexus Quam's _Osmose_
Conrad Schnitzler's _Ballet Statique_
Et Cetera's _Et Cetera_ (perhaps the best of the lot,
but I'm not sure if it's available on CD and it's
ultra-rare. Anyone want to sell/trade me a copy?)
