hey now, just cos the step had that vocal... the sound was still pure
sheffield. plus, some bitchin' b-sides (bullfrog and robert gordon's dubs)

>not an aphex fan then?

nope, and it's been a point of contention on this list before. it's just
how i am...

>controversial.....
>distortion has its place, but it's not often used well.

now that's a voice of reason. well said. some bloke around here used to
have a sig. "reverb's great if you know how to use it..."

>really dig a lot of stuff from the 'golden age' of jungle.. i'm currently
>discovering loads of gems from the reinforced back catalogue - 4 hero's
>92-94 eps are the business!

indeed. played the original "mr. kirks nightmare" last night, from '92.
some of that old moving shadow stuff is fun too, but a bit obnoxious.
that's why they called it hardcore...

btw, in the long run, the best warp one-off was "modus vivendi" (fade in
mix) hoo! shivers...

i will also accept wildplanet's "blueprints" and it's rippin' "electron" 12".

in my opinion. or something.
